Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) Training - New Orleans
This is the “next step” for assistants who want to expand their capabilities in dental practice. This course is designed to provide dental assistants with the knowledge and skills they need to perform expanded duty dental assisting functions as specified by Louisiana law.
Digital and Conventional Radiology (RAD) for the Dental Assistant
This course will provide training for auxiliary personnel in the technique of accurate intraoral dental radiography. Practical experience will be provided in radiographic technique, darkroom procedures, and mounting intraoral x-rays. The long cone paralleling technique will be emphasized. The bisecting the angle technique will be presented in theory and in practice.

This course contains two separate half day presentations. In the morning, Dr. Todd Snyder will present on Cosmetics and Veneers. In the afternoon, he will present on Smart Practices For Your Practice.

This course contains two separate half day presentations. In the morning, Dr. Timothy Bizga will present on The Nuts and Bolts of Implant Dentistry. In the afternoon, he will present on Embracing the Change.
Mysteries of the Medical History
Dr. Thomas Viola will be presenting on three different topics about the knowledge of dental pharmacology and how it has never been more essential to patient care. These topics include, It's (Medically) Complicated, Waiting to inhale, and Hurts So... Swell.
