Overview
Designed for the ENTIRE TEAM, this course will take you on a journey of state-of-the-art concepts that can be immediately implemented into your day-to-day practice. This course will cover the following topics:

  • a clear path from understanding dental disease to state-of-the-art caries diagnostics
  • the concept of remineralization and giving you the tools to eliminate white spots using chemotherapeutics ONLY
  • minimally invasive periodontal therapy and concepts about various technologies, for example, diode lasers and piezo scalers, with the goal of being a more productive, patient-centered hygiene program
  • the journey into the world of digital dentistry and showing how this technology is NOT only about optical impressions, but more about digitally driven predictable results
  • tying the entire day together by discussing marketing and communication for the entire team

Get to know Dr. Kaminer
Dr. Kaminer is an internationally known educator, traveling the world lecturing on dental laser technology. He brings to each of his programs a comprehensive knowledge of the most cutting edge technologies in the dental market.

About the Presenter
Ron Kaminer, DDSRon Kaminer, DDS
Dr. Kaminer is a 1990 graduate from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He maintains two practices, one in Hewlett, NY and one in Oceanside, NY. Dr. Kaminer is an international expert in the field of dental lasers and has lectured on lasers and minimally invasive dentistry both nationally and internationally. He is the Director of the Masters of Laser training program in New York and is a clinical instructor with the International College of Laser Education. Dr. Kaminer evaluates new dental materials for Catapult Education and sits on the advisory boards and is a clinical consultant for numerous dental manufacturers. He has authored numerous articles on dental lasers and minimally invasive dentistry, is a frequent contributor to Mentor magazine and is an associate editor for Dental Product Shopper. Dr. Kaminer is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, International College of Facial Esthetics, and American Dental Association. He lives in Hewlett, NY with his wife and three children.

If you cancel your registration for this course, the Academy will refund the tuition you paid (minus an administrative cancellation fee). If LSU Health New Orleans CDE receives notification of your cancellation after November 17, 2017, it will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition.
