Learn how to use current software and hardware to design and fabricate clear orthodontic aligners to treat appropriate cases.

  • Exporting models for 3D printing
  • Introduction to 3D printing
  • Setting up models for 3D printing

  • In-office 3D printer options
  • Clear aligner fabrication - "hands-on" with models
  • Placing attachments - "hands-on" with models
  • Tips and tricks for the aligner delivery appointments
Attendees must have previous clear aligner experience and will need to download and install software prior to the course.

About the Presenters

Reinol Gonzalez, DMD

Reinol Gonzalez, DMD
Dr. Reinol Gonzalez earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane in 1983 and his DMD from the University of Florida in 1987. He has focused his practice on Orthodontics and Dental Implants for the last 20 years. Dr. Gonzalez brings his problem solving skills to education, simplifying procedures and making dentistry more efficient and profitable.

Rick Ferguson, DMD

Rick Ferguson, DMD
Rick Ferguson lectures throughout the world on a variety of implant surgery and restorative topics. He is the Director of Implant Educators that runs a seven-month program teaching general dentists and specialists how to become implantologists. Dr. Ferguson is a Diplomate of the ICOI, an Associate Fellow of the AAID, clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida and a visiting lecturer at the University of Miami. Dr. Ferguson has taught implant dentistry and hands-on bone grafting courses attended by thousands of dentists over the past 19 years. He is currently in private practice in Davie, Florida.

In the event a course is cancelled, the Academy will refund the full tuition. If you cancel your registration for this course, the Academy will refund the tuition you paid (minus an administrative cancellation fee of 10% of the tuition you paid). info@lsucde.org. If LSU Health New Orleans CDE receives notification of your cancellation after September 14, 2018, this will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition.
