LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry/The Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education, Inc. (d/b/a: LSU Health New Orleans Continuing Dental Education) is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at www.ada.org/CERP.
Cancellation & Refund Policy: The Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education, Inc./ (d/b/a: LSU Health New Orleans Continuing Dental Education) reserves the right to cancel any course should circumstances warrant such action. In the event this course is cancelled, the Academy will refund the full tuition. If you cancel your registration for this course, the Academy will refund the tuition you paid (minus an administrative cancellation). We must receive your written cancellation request no later than September 4, 2020 by mail, fax at (504) 941-8403, or email at CDE@lsuhsc.edu. If LSU Health New Orleans CDE receives notification of your cancellation after September 4, 2020, it will result in forfeiture of the entire tuition.
Nonrefundable Airline Ticket, Flight Change, or Hotel Reservation: In the event a course is cancelled or rescheduled, the Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education, Inc. (d/b/a: LSU Health New Orleans Continuing Dental Education) cannot be held responsible for the cost of a nonrefundable airline ticket, flight change, or hotel room reservation.
New Knowledge Related to Dental Practice: Dental educational institutions have an obligation to disseminate new knowledge related to dental practice. In so doing, some presentations may include controversial materials or commercial references. Participants are cautioned about the potential risks of using limited knowledge when incorporating techniques and procedures into their practices, especially when the course has not provided them with supervised clinical experience in the technique or procedure to ensure that they have attained competence.
